The only drawback for us was the National Park Bus schedule in summer. If you’re planning to explore across the border, you’ll have to start early and head back fairly soon. The apartments are lovely and well furnished, with a microwave, stove, fridge and TV, and the staff are friendly. WiFi is decent too. It’s a cozy place in a charming village near the Bavaria border, but they’re nearly full year-round, so book well ahead.

We loved staying here and hope to come back one day. It’s one of the best deals around, with great furnishings and a well-equipped kitchen, and you can use the saunas whenever you like.

We’ve just returned from the Prenet apartment, which has everything you need in the kitchen, plus a very comfortable bed and couch. Penzion Kilián is a really pleasant place for families with children and other guests, with the ski slope and ski school close by. I especially want to mention how helpful Mrs. and Mr. were. There are no hidden fees, either. Thanks for a wonderful stay 🙂

Everything else about our stay was fine, and communication with the owners before arrival went smoothly. The apartment itself is nice, but I wouldn’t return with four people because of the sofa bed in the living room. Two of us struggled to unfold it, and it was falling apart. Luckily my husband had tools and tightened the screws that kept coming loose, which made the slats drop. Without him fixing it, one of us might have ended up on the floor. We left it unfolded for the whole week because we were afraid it would break again. It was also incredibly hard, the hardest thing I’ve ever slept on. The pillows were completely flat, even doubled over, and I suffered every night. The couch creaked so much that we worried turning over would wake everyone. The apartment needs an inspection: one section of the wardrobe’s sliding door fell out while my daughter was there, and part of the shower door doesn’t sit in the lower groove, leaving the glass hanging from the top rail. Better sheets would help too, since making the sofa bed was a pain. The dust on the TV chest could also be wiped now and then, though that’s a small detail. Thanks for making the apartment available; we were happy with everything else.

It was our first visit to the apartment, and we definitely plan to return. Everything was ready for us, and we didn’t find ourselves missing anything during the stay. We were there with our 10-month-old son, and it worked well for a family: there was a cot, potty, a children’s corner in the guesthouse and playgrounds nearby. It’s also a handy starting point for trips, with asphalt bike paths that work with a stroller. Arrangements with the owners were easy and pleasant. We’re looking forward to coming back.
