It’s a roomy, well-laid-out apartment, and getting to the city center, the Science Museum, and Babylon is easy. On a hot day, though, the promised air conditioning wasn’t there, and they didn’t have a fan when we asked. We had to sleep with the windows open, so traffic from the main road was loud. Shutting them cut the noise a lot, but didn’t block it completely.

We stayed at Penzion Jasmin for quite a while as a larger group and had a really pleasant time. The garden and pool were lovely, and the staff kept trying to help with whatever we needed. The location was very good too.

We only stayed one night, but from the start we felt good about the place. The instructions for finding Pension Jasmin were clear and had been sent by phone the day before. Parking inside the grounds is covered by CCTV, and there’s a lovely garden behind the parking area. Mrs Dominika at reception was kind and polite, and helped us with everything we asked about. Our room was clean, pleasantly scented, and roomy enough for a couple, with its own bathroom. I have a dust allergy and am very sensitive to dust, but there wasn’t any in the room. The TV worked properly too, unlike some more expensive four-star hotels I’ve stayed in, where the channels or picture were poor. Breakfast cost extra, but was tasty and adequate. We often travel and choose three- or four-star hotels and guesthouses, and this was a good choice, even better than we expected. Everything was clean and elegant, parking felt secure, and Dominika was very helpful. We were completely satisfied and would choose this place again.

It’s near the city center, and despite being in a busy spot, the place was clean and quiet. I didn’t find anything in particular that stood out.
