Golden Key Apartments

Our room, 3C, was on the third floor and had a small balcony that was lovely to sit on in the morning or evening. The apartment feels luxurious, with a great sauna in the room, a huge fancy TV, and a nice jacuzzi. The bathroom is small but does the job, and the shower gets hot. The location is nice too. Finding the room was confusing: there are no room numbers on the doors past reception at the top of the stairs, so we walked into another room. Both rooms were open, and that one wasn't fully finished, though it looked posh too. For a luxury apartment, things need more attention. There were no instructions for anything. We found in the morning that the heated floor had been on all night, and we had thought the air conditioning wasn't very good. It wasn't cold enough anyway, and maybe the floor added to that. There's a little remote in the kitchen, but we had no idea what it was for, and the thermostat on the wall was under a rubber cover with no explanation either. The jacuzzi switch works backwards, unless Czech electricians do things the opposite way. Pressing the 0 should have turned it off, but it came on and sprayed me in the face and soaked me and the wall when the water was halfway up. Funny, but it shouldn't happen. Once we got it ready, the silver trim came off while we were in it with the jets running. It was held on with a small blob of glue. The one set of bath salts didn't do anything, either. There were only two coffee pods for the machine. And the air conditioning dripped onto the floor. More coffee, towels, bath salts, and instructions would help. It's a great start, but it still needs a little extra to earn that fifth star.
