Pension Masonic House

We all slept well, and the beds were comfortable. The kids loved being so close to the castle and made good friends with some goats. Breakfast had something for everyone, and the coffee and fresh cake were good. The staff were friendly. The family museum is really interesting, and all the pictures around the hotel and restaurant give the place a distinctive atmosphere. We’ll definitely come back. The young boss speaks English, Spanish, and Russian.

The location is hard to beat, and the friendly service makes up for the rather modest rooms. This old Masonic house has an aged, even creepy interior, which is what you might expect from a building like that. Breakfast is a standard continental spread, not a huge selection but enough to do the job. The secret societies museum is in the same building, and the city center and the walls of castle Loket are both just a three-minute walk away. Very good value for the price.

We sat outside in this lovely old town and enjoyed the atmosphere. The iced coffee with ice cream and cream was naughty but nice 😋. Friendly staff made the whole experience even more pleasant.

Awful cafe and awful staff. I was there with my family, and some of the ice creams we bought had hair in them. We asked to have them exchanged, but in the end they told us to just leave the cafe.
