Penzion Monika

We've been visiting Luhačovice since the 1960s, but only in recent years have we felt fully satisfied with our accommodation. My partner and I have now stayed at Monika guesthouse every year for many years, and we'd like to thank Mrs. Jahodová, who runs it. We've thanked her in person before, but wanted to say it here too so potential guests can consider the place. It may sound like an advert, and perhaps it's against our interests to say this, but the guesthouse is booked all year. We were lucky to find it years ago, and you may need luck too. It's right in the centre, with everything close by, in the shade of the magnificent Alexandria, and there's parking. Older guests may especially appreciate that there are no hills or stairs. The accommodation is clean, and after renovation the sanitary facilities are up to standard. The windows have soundproof triple glazing and blinds. There are equipped kitchens and fridges with freezers. Above all, Mrs. Jahodová is so friendly that she could be an example to many guesthouse managers. Václav Palička with Marcelka.

We had a pleasant Easter 2024. The room was large, everything was clean, and the kitchen had good equipment. The location was excellent and the owner very kind. The only small difficulty was sleeping on the beds because of their "inflated" shape. Thank you.

The rooms and bathrooms are spacious, and the kitchen has all the utensils you need. Everything was exceptionally clean, and the accommodation prices were great. The guesthouse is in the best location in the spa, just a short walk from the bus stops, a bakery with night sales and the post office. I also want to thank the owner for the kindness and humanity she showed my elderly parents. Highly recommend!

This is a family guesthouse with nice owners, and they can take pets if you arrange it with them. The rooms are small but cozy, with a shower and toilet, TV and wifi. There's a fully equipped kitchen on every floor, so making breakfast or dinner is no problem. The accommodation price is average and, to me, fits the service offered.
