Apartments Central Park Marienbad

It's OK.

The gated parking lot was a good thing, given the crowd that gathers on the street outside in the evenings. Across the road, Arnika beer garden has very cheap beer, dancing and loud 70s and 80s music late into the night. The area seems popular with people who like to pose and really let loose. There are comfortable beds, and enough room for 9-10 people to party. There's also a bed for 4. But the apartment is furnished carelessly and feels bare rather than cozy. The furnishings are inadequate: no balcony furniture, chopping board, meat knife, bread knife, toaster, coffee maker, dessert bowls, beer glasses or egg cups. It's more suited to partygoers.

The view over the spa gardens is lovely, and the suite is well appointed, with separate living, sleeping, bathing and toilet areas. There are plenty of dishes in the kitchen. In winter, though, the apartment gets a bit too cold. The few radiators barely manage to heat the living space.

It was comfortable, with a balcony looking out over the park, and was well equipped. You can see that it's a bit worn with time, but nothing that made it hard to feel at ease there.
