Ensana Butterfly

It's a nice hotel in an old building, and the room was clean and tidy. Parking space is very limited, which could be a problem if you arrive with a group bus.

They made us leave the restaurant at 10:28, even though breakfast was meant to run until 10:30. We weren't even allowed to finish our coffee. It felt rushed and unwelcoming, and I can't understand why they treated us that way. Kicking hotel guests out like that isn't normal. Very disappointing.

The beds were great and clean, though they were two singles pushed together instead of one large bed. The room felt dated and needed a new coat of paint. The toilet had a flushing problem and filled the room with a horrible smell overnight, which we only noticed after returning from our morning swim. Parking costs extra. Check-in took 40 minutes. The reception staff were friendly and really tried to help, but it took even longer because an impatient person interrupted us and was helped instead of being asked to wait their turn. The receptionists were the only kind staff we encountered. Others didn't even say hello in any language, despite us speaking them all, for example when we gave our room number at dinner. At the lobby bar, staff turned away as soon as they served us, leaving no chance to thank them. We went for a swim before checkout and found that our cards had been deactivated 30 minutes before the actual checkout time, locking us out of our room. A cleaner helped us; otherwise we'd have had to go to reception in a swimsuit and bathrobe. It definitely isn't a four-star hotel. I'll choose somewhere else next time :)

We had a lovely one-night stay across from the park. Reception did their best to help us in English, though knowing some German is useful in this part of Czechia. The swimming pool was a good size and the water was very nice. The price was very reasonable for a National holiday weekend too.
