Hotel La Provence

We only stayed two nights, and I wish it could have been longer. The owner shared helpful ideas for outings and places to eat nearby. It’s a lovely little hotel with a bright, spacious, clean room, and the price was very reasonable.

Our twins had never slept in a hotel room before, and after this weekend they didn’t want to leave the apartment and go home. It made quite an impression on them. The apartment was beautiful and clean, and we were given a full explanation of everything we needed. We sorted out the departure arrangements in person, and stayed in touch by text during the weekend. We called on the last day to thank the owner for such a wonderful stay. He treated us like his own family, which was a lovely surprise. He was kind, helpful, and very communicative. Before we arrived, he replied promptly by email and sent several WhatsApp messages with ideas for how to spend our free time in Marianske Lazne. We didn’t have to pay a deposit in advance, which isn’t usually the case; we paid when we arrived. The place was exactly what you’d hope for. I highly recommend it, and if we get the chance to visit Marijanka again, I’ll contact this apartment directly.

The location is right in the center of Mariánské Lázně, a short walk from the colonnade. The owner was very nice and helpful, gave us trip ideas as soon as we arrived, and communication was 1*. The room was spacious and clean, but you could hear practically everything between rooms, especially from the neighboring bathroom, as well as footsteps from upstairs. The shower took 2 minutes to get hot, and adjusting the temperature was slow. Hot and cold water kept alternating for another 5 minutes before I could get it right. It’s a good place for a few nights. I can’t imagine staying here for more than a week.
