The room and bar have an old-fashioned interior that's well maintained, and breakfast was a typical Czech spread, with enough to eat but not much care put into it. The road noise was the real problem. The room is right by the road leading all the way to Wroclaw, and trucks passed every five seconds all night. If you're after a quiet room, this place may not suit you. The receptionist also worked as the bar waiter and seemed overloaded, so check-in took a while.

The hosts speak English or German :) There were vegetarian breakfast options, but both of us got sick to our stomachs afterward because the eggs were undercooked. For meals, there wasn't a vegetarian choice beyond cheese with potatoes. :(

Breakfast had a pretty limited choice, and the whole hotel smelled of the kitchen. The reception is actually at the bar, and there's no restaurant in the hotel. The rooms badly need renovating.

The staff were nice, and service and prices were good. A lovely spot for lunch, especially with the outdoor seating.

I'd steer clear of the beer in the downstairs bar.
