Hotel Orlík

We stopped at Restaurant Orlík on our trip to Teplické skály. It's handy being right by the rocks entrance, but that's about the only plus. The food was edible and the portions decent, though nothing special, just standard Czech dishes. The service made us feel unwelcome. The staff seemed annoyed we were there and were very unfriendly. Nobody spoke English, and they looked irritated when we tried to communicate. We waited 20 minutes just to order, then nearly an hour for the food, while servers stood around chatting instead of helping customers. In such a touristy spot, you'd expect basic English and friendly service. There are better places if you walk a little further. I'd only go here if desperate and with lots of time to waste.

We hadn't stayed in the rooms, just stopped by after a long walk in the park. It was pretty empty, and there wasn't much beer to choose from. The food was decent but forgettable. The dessert looked good, but I passed because it was swimming in a lot of butter. We came across the place by chance, and the location was convenient. Hope you have a lovely day.

We ate at the restaurant after visiting Teplicke Skaly. The food was decent, but I wouldn't come back after what happened with payment. They didn't take cards, and we only found out once we'd finished eating. When I said customers should be told before ordering, the waiter said there was a sign at the counter. It wasn't clearly visible when we came in, and we didn't notice it. We had no cash and had to borrow money from other guests to pay. Better communication from the staff would have easily avoided this.

A pleasant place to eat on the way to or from ADRSPACH. The food was tasty, and service stayed fast despite a lot of orders. The menu is in Polish and Czech, with fried cheese, dumplings with goulash, desserts, coffee, and alcoholic drinks. They take cards and cash, and parking is available. Service was hassle-free.
