We had a lovely time with the children and dogs, and the lake view from the fully equipped cottage was beautiful. The owner was very pleasant and suggested great places to explore nearby, where there’s plenty to see and do. For relaxing at the cottage, a punt is included, and there’s a fire pit with wood ready by the water, plus seating. It all felt very private. The campsite is only a few minutes away on foot, with a restaurant and a small shop open in the morning. Thank you, 10/10.

The host was so kind and helpful that we felt right at home, and we’d happily return. The cottage was cozy, clean, and well equipped. It’s also ideally placed, with the campsite, lake, and recreational activities close by. We had a wonderful stay.

We had a relaxing week with the children and dogs. The cottages are retro in style but well looked after, and the kids enjoyed both the playground and riding in the punt. The owner was helpful and pleasant. There are lots of things to do nearby: we walked around the area, visited several castles and a swimming pool, and especially liked Kratochvíle castle. The romantic setting made for a lovely break. I’d recommend it, and wish everyone who loves Czech nature a nice summer.

A good fit if you want somewhere quiet and don’t mind driving farther for activities. The rent is reasonable, and the owner is very willing to help. Kids have climbing frames and activities around the cottage, and you can rent a dinghy. The rooms are simply furnished. The local pond was dirty, which took away from the setting, and cleaner natural swimming spots are hard to find nearby. There also isn’t much to do in the surrounding area without getting in the car. Bring your own kitchen knives, as the ones there are extremely blunt. I’d also suggest checking the cottage carefully when you arrive and discussing any issues with the owner. We personally had none, but he seemed anxious about that.
