Smarthotel Nezvalova Archa

The rooms were fine, with comfortable beds, a mini kitchen, microwave, fridge, and other things. The showers and WC were practical, and there were plenty of umbrellas by the entrance to borrow if needed. Entry is organized pretty conveniently, since you can get into your room without a receptionist when you first arrive. We received the hotel entrance PIN in time, but it stopped working after 2 days.

The self-service setup downstairs was cute, but our room was dirty. There was hair in the shower corner, a dirty floor, and a dirty wall with a hole patched with tape. The soap holder and soap looked like they hadn't been cleaned, there was a big spiderweb, and the remote was sticky.

The hotel itself is full of character, with large paintings, books, and a guitar in the lobby. Our rooms were clean and nicely furnished with thoughtful touches, including an adjustable bed, a small reading lamp, a book of Chech poetry, and albums. Breakfast was delicious, and the tea selection was excellent. I'd never seen lavender tea at a hotel before. They could consider using larger serving containers for items like cheese, ham, honey, and nutella to cut down on plastic.

The room had the facilities I needed and felt like a home away from home, and breakfast was really good. The location by the train station is great, too. My one issue was communicating remotely. Apart from that, everything was good.
