Panský mlýn

The air conditioning worked very well, which mattered with so many mosquitoes around the old mill. Leaving the windows open at night would have been unpleasant. There are a few practical gaps in the rooms: no towel spot by the bathroom sink, nowhere for a toothbrush or toilet paper, and chairs would make the rooms more usable. It felt like some corners had been cut in the design. The restaurant serves quite fancy creations. The prices are reasonable for that kind of food, but it won't suit everyone's taste, and the menu is only in Czech, making it hard for foreign visitors to order. The setting is pleasant, though fairly remote and not especially striking. It's an okay place, neither too bad nor particularly great.

The venue has lovely scenery, with a lake out front, and it made a beautiful setting for a wedding. The food was excellent and there were lots of choices. Staff brought everything out quickly, served drinks and kept topping them up, though afterward they seemed bored and spent the rest of the night on their phones. We had to ask three times for ice before getting it from another staff member. It was also extremely hot inside, and everyone was sweating. The staff wouldn't switch on the A/C for hours; later they said it was on, but it never seemed to work. Even with that, it was a good place and the food was great.

By the river, among trees and horse pastures, this old converted mill has plenty of character. It's a lovely spot for a lazy weekend afternoon, and the coffee is great. The restaurant has its own brewery and fishponds right in front, where you can catch a fish and have the kitchen prepare it. There's also an outdoor playground for kids. You can get here by car, on foot or by bicycle. It's popular for weddings too, with a nearby spot for an outdoor ceremony.

We had a wedding here, and it went very well. The setting is beautiful, with lovely nature all around, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The food was delicious. I highly recommend visiting.
