The place has a really calm, relaxing feel, though the floors seemed to stay dirty, so house slippers might be handy. The staff were very sweet, a lovely group of women. Getting into the city is the downside if you don't drive: there's just one bus, and you still have to walk a bit to reach it.

Friendly student staff are part of the experience, and the residence is fairly quiet. You can use the BBQ facilities, and there's plenty of parking. By car or bus, the city centre is about ten minutes away, with key locations nearby. It offers good value.

There were bedbugs in our room, so of course we couldn't sleep there. The receptionist spoke only her native language and didn't offer us a different room or a refund.

A cheaper place to stay in Ostrava, especially for students. It also suits people who are there for a shorter time and want an affordable option.

A decent enough place to spend the night.
