Ubytovani Stracena

The room and its equipment impressed us, especially since it was one of the cheapest places to book in Ostrava that weekend, at about 50$/night. I especially liked the nightlamps with coloured light :). Booking was easy, and the self-check-in instructions arrived on time. The room was spacious, with modern furniture and everything needed for a short stay. There was even an automatic salt and pepper mill, though it had no salt or pepper, and I doubt anyone travels with peppercorns :). We also had a tea, coffee, and sugar set, towels and shampoos, a nice hall with a guest book, and parking nearby. We were generally satisfied with our stay. A few things could be better: the dishes weren't well washed, there were spots on the bed linen, and check-out by 10.00 was too early. There was no option to select a double bed while booking, though I assume those rooms were already taken.

You can't give zero stars, unfortunately. The room was incredibly noisy, with every snore and other sound coming through the walls or door. It's in the middle of a residential area, and parking was a disaster. I absolutely can't recommend this hotel.

The room was great, and there was a really good restaurant too.

It was quiet, and the windows were insulated and soundproof. There's a restaurant downstairs that cooks amazingly. The apartment also has a kitchen and a table with two chairs, so working on a laptop is comfortable. A very pleasant stay, thank you very much!
