There could be so much more to this place. It's in a beautiful, quiet setting, well away from the daily rush, with little cottages nearby that are lived in all year, so there seems to be potential for visitors even in the off-season. The equipment looks nice, and it could have been a wonderful place to stay or go for wellness. But the service is what lets it down, and that's what matters here. We came because signs around the property invite visitors. This was already our third visit, and I wanted to share how the latest one went. A sign by the entrance said “Restaurant 11-17,” so at 11:10 we asked reception if we could get coffee. The receptionist was very friendly, but said the restaurant opened at 12 and suggested asking there directly. The restaurant was clean and empty. We only wanted coffee, something with a high margin that can literally be made at the push of a button, and we were happy to have it outside on the terrace. Still, we were told it was too much work and couldn't be done. The first time there were too many people, the next time they were expecting people, and now there was nobody. I've given up trying.

The views are lovely, there's a big pool, and the rooms have been renovated recently. Most of the staff are nice and helpful. Still, the service level is low for the high prices, whether it's cleaning, food, or wellness. A big disappointment for me this year.

Interesting that the page owner deletes reviews. I posted a negative one here last year, and now it has disappeared. In short, don't go. It's a waste of money, time, and nerves. Your health could be at risk too.

If you want friendlier service, better-looking meals, and warmer pool water, go on the weekend. Otherwise, you'll pay four-star prices for a three-star hotel.

The views and sounds of nature were lovely, and the food was yummy. I stayed in a peaceful, well-appointed cabin, nice and quiet.
