The breakfast had a bit of everything, and it was so good. We also enjoyed the clean, tidy room, the lovely terrace restaurant and bar, and the great views from our room. The location was excellent too. I recommend it.

We loved looking out over the square from our room. There’s a rooftop bar, plus places to eat both indoors and outside, and breakfast has plenty of choice. The location makes it easy to stroll around and browse the shops.

Breakfast was great, and the hotel is in a great location. Our room was spacious and nice, but it got kind of hot. The windows wouldn’t shut properly and the curtains didn’t block out the light, so air conditioning would have been welcome.

I enjoyed my stay here. The beds were comfortable, and the windows did a good job of keeping street noise out. The room itself was simple, with a small TV, a desk, basic coffee and no sofa. The hotel is right in the city centre, opposite st. Bartholomeo cathedral.

The staff were impolite and aggressive, telling guests what they thought would make their own lives easier. Even breakfast, though good, was the same buffet every day, with a robot pestering you to put your used plates on it. The rooms are basic, and neither the safe nor the towel warmer worked. Thin windows let the very drunk locals and football fans in the main square sound as if they were right there with you. The hotel sits at a corner of the historical main square, built during communism, and its design and the staff’s attitude seem unchanged. It felt like a trip to the past, and it’s totally overpriced.
