Chalupa Ostravice

The owner was lovely, and the cottage had everything we needed. The kids enjoyed it a lot. No faults at all, and this definitely won't be our last visit.

We were here with two families, and each had a separate apartment with its own amenities. The cottage was beautifully clean and smelled fresh, with everything provided, from towels and bath towels to toys, plus a welcome drink, coffee, tea, and sugar. It's great for children. The owner is an amazing lady. After about 10 years of staying in cottages all over the country, this was the best one we've had. A restaurant serving delicious food is nearby, along with a shop, ice cream, and the train station.

Ostravice and the local Beskydy brewery, along with the surrounding area, are unique. The cottage made for a very nice stay for me and my family, with excellent indoor and outdoor facilities for adults and children, in every season and whatever the weather. It's in a quiet part of the village, with easy access by train or car, in a picturesque part of the Moravian-Silesian Beskydy. The Ostravice River marks the border between Moravia and Silesia. The poet P. Bezruč lived here and climbed Lysá hora. I highly recommend it, and thank you for a lovely stay.

We really liked Ostravice. The cottage is clean and well-equipped, with a well-kept garden, a covered seating area and grill, a playhouse for children, and deckchairs. The Ostravice river runs behind the garden, where you can swim. Nearby, Myslivna restaurant serves good food. Marked trails around the cottage lead to Lysá Hora, the Šance dam, and Smrk. Thank you.
