The rest of the place left a decent impression, which made the beds all the more frustrating. I tried three rooms on the top floor, and could only sleep on the one foam mattress out of seven. The others were old, worn out and full of springs. My back was a mess the next morning. Such a shame.

We stayed there about three weeks ago with family and friends, and I won't be going back. The yard parking is the one thing I'd give a star for. The bedroom mattress was a disaster, and I'd rather sleep on hay next time. In the kitchen, we had to ask about a lot of things that were supplied later. Some of the dishes should be replaced, and the toilet handle needs fixing too. I couldn't make sense of the mess and stench in the room next to the toilet. If guests aren't meant to see it, lock it up next time and put up a "we're painting" sign or something. I've put up with plenty, but this was miserable. The owner doesn't seem interested in making even a few improvements. Well, it's not a big deal.

The young lady on site was lovely and always smiling, and I especially want to mention her amazing breakfast. Nights were absolutely quiet, and the place is right in the center. There's a shop just across the street and a pharmacy next door. The Němec family microbrewery is a great find, about a 200 m walk away, though they don't serve hot food except at events. We went there for its 10th anniversary, so we didn't try the nearby Peppino pizzeria, about 150 m away, or the other pizzeria on the square. Both probably have more than pizza, but we didn't check. :-D The little kitchen is very sparsely equipped. It was just enough for two of us, even though the place has three rooms and eight beds in total. You can spread bread and heat a tin on the greasy double burner with a cast iron plate, but I wouldn't attempt proper cooking, especially with raw meat. There's nowhere to put things in the bathroom or the room. The room has two small cabinets, but no table or chairs to work at with a laptop. WiFi in the kitchenette is barely usable. Two of us managed fine for two nights, but a bigger group on bikes staying for a week would be queuing for the toilet and shower. The toilet opens off the kitchenette, so everyone there can hear you. There's almost nowhere to dry wet gear, either. And with kids, how would that work?

The room was clean, but there was no towel for me and the lamp didn't work. Construction next door in the morning made it hard to get a restful sleep.
