The pub on the street corner does a good steak, since the hotel doesn't serve dinner. Parking is a bit tight, though the staff were very helpful by message. It's only a couple of minutes from the old town and plenty of sights. The rooms and furnishings feel old, and you can hear people on the stairs and in the corridor.

The room was large and clean, and the shared spaces use automatic lights, which is a nice environmentally friendly touch. The main shopping street is about a five-minute walk away.

After 23 years of traveling extensively around the Czech Republic, I can say this place stands well above the average. The included breakfast is better than most, and the safe parking right outside the room entrance is a real plus. The staff are proper and professional, and everything was clean, intact, and kept in nearly new condition. All the amenities you could need were there.

The people were friendly, and staying here in such a lovely city was a pleasure. It's worth the price, with clean, tidy, spacious rooms and parking inside the building. There is a cafe as well as the hotel accommodation. Don't expect a perfect hotel experience, though. Breakfast wasn't great, but it was enough to get the day started. If you only speak English, having Google Translate handy is a good idea.
