Pierre hotel & restaurant

I was in town for a two-day conference at a nearby university and was traveling without a car. The hotel's location and direct city transport links on lines 16 and 30 worked really well for me. There is also parking in front if you drive. The room, restaurant and food were excellent, and the receptionist, waitress and managers were all wonderful. A perfect place for a business trip. Thank you, and good luck to the managers for hiring such kind, professional staff.

The hotel is well placed for exploring the area, has its own parking, and the Wi-Fi works very well. The room was spacious and modern, and the food was excellent. But the hospitality was appalling. The receptionist wasn't friendly when we arrived, and the hours for both breakfast and dinner felt far too short. Breakfast ends at 10, or 9:30 on Sundays. You need to arrive at least half an hour early to order from a menu, since there's no buffet, and the service is slow. Choices are limited to five kinds of eggs with extras, muesli with fruit, or American pancakes. No croissants, bread or other usual continental options. The restaurant also shuts at 8 in the evening. The air conditioning barely worked, so we had to sleep with the window open. The mattress was uncomfortably hard and we hardly slept. There's no minibar, either. Our room wasn't cleaned on two of our four nights, and the towels weren't changed. For two nights the bed wasn't made, nothing was cleaned, and towels left on the floor stayed there. After reading the reply below, blaming the guest just confirms the lack of hospitality. Pointing to rules on the website doesn't excuse those ridiculous opening hours. This hotel falls well below international standards, especially for business guests.

It's a nice hotel, but the service is very unfriendly. You can't have a drink at the bar after 9 pm, and at dinner they make you pay right at 9 because they want to close. There's no hospitality at all.

A clean, modern place with a really good breakfast. Wi-Fi and parking were both good too, and it worked perfectly for a business trip.
