Bouda Na Cestě

The place itself was a lovely experience, and I’m already looking forward to returning. It’s a clean wooden cottage with really nice owners who make you feel at home, maybe even better than at home. There’s breakfast if you want it, and a small shared kitchen in the rooms. I had nothing to complain about. It’s a good base for hiking. The cable cars are 200m from the cottage and can make a trip to Sněžka easier. The rooms have electric heating, and I liked how clear the price list was: it only separates heating and non-heating seasons and charges per person, per night. It’s on their website. A great quiet spot in the heart of the Krkonoše Mountains.

The room was clean, with electric heating, a modern shower and toilet, and even a heated floor. There’s no TV, which didn’t bother us on vacation, but there is Wi-Fi. Breakfast is available, and draft beer is about 200m down the hill. Lovely nature around the place, and we’ll come again. The operators were excellent, very nice and helpful. We’ve been coming here in both summer and winter for 25 years. The surroundings are beautiful, and when there’s snow I can ski from the cottage to the slope and back. The owners are always happy to suggest places to visit. I can only recommend it.
