Lovecká chata

The tartar was our favorite: fresh, well seasoned, and thoughtfully served. The rest of the menu also has quality ingredients and traditional dishes with a little twist. Lovecka Chata is a small restaurant, so booking ahead is a good idea, but that intimate size adds to its charm. It's in the mountains, with rustic decor and a cozy feel that made us feel at home. The staff were friendly, too. We'll be back for another memorable meal.

Lucka looked after our family of five so well. She was welcoming and friendly, and spent lots of time chatting with us. The portions were huge for a reasonable price, and everything tasted delicious. The restaurant has the charm of a family home, with brilliant service. We'll eat here again next time we're back, and I'd recommend it.

The food was delicious, and the staff were really friendly. We don't speak Czech, but the similarities with Polish and Ukrainian helped us get by well enough to order and say thanks. It had the feel of a good old tavern.

The food was the highlight: the mozzarella salad was tasty, and the salmon with potatoes was just right. I hadn't had properly fresh salmon in a while, and this one was delicious, cooked through and still full of flavor. The staff were super friendly, the young guy spoke English, and dogs are very welcome. I was there today and will definitely come back this week. Highly recommend :)
