Enjoy Inn

I booked the night before a spontaneous weekend trip and got a decent price. The room was very nice, clean, and ready early, and the staff were courteous. Breakfast was available for €6 if you wanted it. After checkout, they were happy to hold my bag until my evening train. The wifi wasn’t great, but Plzen had strong LTE, so it wasn’t a problem. I’d definitely stay here again.

The lobby looked amazing, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel has a lift and large rooms. We chose the deluxe room because we wanted a double bed, though nothing else about it felt deluxe. Some bulbs didn’t work, the furniture had an old, musty smell, and there was no fridge. There was a note asking guests to tell reception if they took things from the minibar, which made us laugh. The bathroom was very large, with a bath and shower, but the tap and things generally felt due for a revamp. Breakfast was good, with plenty to choose from. When I told reception the next day that the minibar was missing, she didn’t believe me. I offered to go upstairs and show her, but she declined because she was too busy. All in all, it was OK, though the rooms need more attention.

Enjoy Inn is only a minute’s walk from the main square in Pilsen, and the beds were comfortable, though the hotel lacked character. The staff also need to know more about EU rules, since they didn’t understand that people arriving from other EU countries don’t need visas. If you want an affordable place to rest in the city centre, it’s suitable.

The staff were pleasant, and the hotel has a funky feel. It’s pet friendly and sits just off the main square, which is a great location. The downside is that loud nightclub music can be heard at night.
