Hotel Irida Plzen

I came for business, but Riverside Hotel Plzeň would also be a great choice for a vacation or another kind of trip. The rooms and location were both top-notch. A special thanks to Adelina, whose professional, friendly manner made breakfast a much better start to my morning. I was extremely satisfied with my stay.

The rooms are big, and there's free parking nearby. The hotel is actually not bad, but try to avoid the rooms at the back, where there's kitchen smell and noise from the exhaust air system. There's no smoking facility, and the beer tap system in the bar wasn't working, so there was only canned beer. In Plzeň, of all places! :-(

By the river, the hotel has a peaceful feel, and it's conveniently close to the city center. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and well appointed, and the staff are friendly. Good value for the price, and a solid option for business or leisure.

I paid €217.09 for four nights with breakfast. The hotel is right in central Plzeň, and I liked the building's exterior architecture. It's a small hotel with two large machines for check-in and check-out. I didn't know how to use them, but a staff member helped. My room was nice and the shower decent, though one light didn't work properly. Breakfast was impressive for a hotel this size, with hot options, a Nespresso machine, cold meats, fruit, and cakes. At checkout, I was told I couldn't leave my luggage and collect it later because there was no space and nobody would be at reception at 3.30, when I planned to pick it up. That was poor form and something I hadn't experienced before. The 10am checkout was a bit early too.
