The rooms were comfortable, with lovely sheets and beds, and the food was delicious. The owner and waiters were phenomenal, too, and service was quick. I’d definitely recommend staying at this hotel in Podebrady. 👍

We arrived after a nonstop 13-hour trip and ended up having to drive to another city. The hotel was full and couldn’t find our booking, even though we’d reserved three days earlier, received two confirmations on booking. com, and had also been emailing with a receptionist. They sent us to a pension instead, saying it would be even better for the same price. We drove around for 30 minutes trying to find Pension Dogmar, and when we got there it was much more expensive and didn’t look good. By then we’d lost about an hour, missed other options because check-in had closed, and had to find somewhere else. I can’t rate the hotel itself since we never got a room.

The rooms were clean and nice, and the restaurant was great. The one drawback is that parking isn't right in front of the hotel.

The restaurant has a great atmosphere and decor, with tasty Czech traditional food and excellent beer.

Since our village pub closed, this place is quickly turning into my local.
