The food was good, and we could book the pool and jacuzzi for ourselves without paying much. We enjoyed staying here, especially with the low room prices. Sadly, the hotel has since closed. We last visited about three years ago, so I don't know what shape it's in now. Such a shame.

There’s plenty to do for leisure and wellness, and the rooms are clean and pleasant. Parking is right outside, though getting to rooms in a separate building can be a bit of a dash in bad weather. Families with kids will probably enjoy it most; it can get noisy for guests without children. The restaurant food was average, with too much reliance on glutamate seasoning mixes and not much inventiveness. The friendly staff helped make up for that somewhat.

The kids had been looking forward to the teepee-shaped playroom, but when we went this year, Albatros hotel+restaurant was closed. We used to have a nice time here.

Everything looks almost new, and the rooms and facilities were spotless. The staff were kind and helpful, too. There isn't much room for bikes, though, so get in touch ahead of time if you're bringing your own.

The restaurant food is good, though we usually had to wait quite a while for it. A nice hotel in Prachatice 😕
