Agnes Apartments

Right in the heart of the city, these apartments are stylish, clean and really comfortable, yet surprisingly peaceful and quiet. Everything was perfect. Highly recommend!

We left after two nights because of bed bugs in the room. The owner blamed us and said we’d brought them from our previous accommodation. We checked with that place and confirmed bed bugs had never been reported there. Once we left, we stopped getting new bites. Even after we gathered evidence that it wasn’t us and that the problem was at his accommodation, the owner kept blaming us and threatened us with the pest control bill. He refused compensation. We asked Booking.Com to help with a refund, but they needed the owner to admit what had happened. He denied the whole thing and told them we’d made it all up and brought the bugs in. Strongly reconsider before booking here. The owner is one of the rudest people I’ve ever dealt with.

We stayed at the Agnes last April (2024) while visiting Prague, and the staff made the whole stay easy. They handled our late arrival with gracious 24/7 reception, were patient and helpful with every request, and the friendly team also arranged a late checkout. They speak perfect English, so communicating was easy. On our first night, staff sat down with us to talk through our plans and schedule, then offered great tips and suggestions for booking restaurants and concerts nearby. The hotel is within walking distance of every important landmark. Our top floor room was beautiful, spacious, and had a gorgeous, well equipped bathroom and shower. Breakfast had lots of dishes. When we missed cottage cheese from home or gluten free bread, the staff went out of their way to get them for the next day. That kind of care and hospitality is rare and appreciated. Each time we came through the lobby, someone offered delicious coffee or wine. The hotel also arranged a complimentary ride to the airport for checkout. I’d highly recommend the Agnes and will stay there again next time I’m in Prague.

The neighborhood is beautiful and quaint, and the location is perfect. I can’t imagine a much better area to stay in Prague. Reception is right in front of the church. Our apartment room was extremely comfortable, with fast WiFi, a great TV and fantastic utilities. Staying in an apartment made me feel more connected to the city than a hotel would have. Just keep in mind that the room got pretty bright in the morning if you’ve been out late.
