The receptionist was super friendly, though she mainly spoke Spanish. Reception closes before the evening, so if you leave luggage there you'll have to call her or wait. She also cleans the rooms, and I wasn't sure how secure the luggage storage was. I stayed alone for one night. The bedroom was tiny and cold: it had two heaters, but the one in the bedroom was off and its knob had been removed, while the other one barely helped. The see-through curtains gave little privacy and did nothing to keep the cold out. The sheets had stains and someone else's hair, and made me very itchy. The room smelled sickly sweet, as if something was being covered up. The shower swung between scalding and cold, and I burned my hand on the pipe while adjusting the tap. Some spots on the floor were sticky, and the internet was slow. There was a cute black cat, which was nice. It's about a 20-minute walk downhill to the city centre. The receptionist was the only good thing about the place.

It was clean and inexpensive, but I wouldn't stay here again. The rooms are cheap and the location itself is quiet, though noise carries through the building because there is no soundproofing. You can hear other guests, the nearby church bells ringing almost regularly, and another chime that I assume is the hotel's doorbell at irregular times. There are no light-blocking shades, so light sleepers should bring both an eye mask and earplugs. The listing said there was a kitchen, but in our apartment that amounted to a kettle, a couple of plates, and coffee cups. There wasn't even a corkscrew or bottle opener. There's no air conditioning, and the Wi-Fi isn't good enough for much. The advertised airport taxi service had "technical difficulties," so don't count on it.

I booked through Booking. The room was clean, and all the extras listed on Booking were there, though it was in older condition, as shown in the pictures. Staff only spoke Czech, which made communication difficult. Reception is open until 18:00. If you arrive later, you need to use the key boxes out front and get the code in advance.

The staff were nice and helpful, and there's a small parking area inside. The rooms were clean, though not quite up to a modern, comfortable style. It's not a bad place if the price is right.

The inside was clean, and the location made it easy to walk to the centre. There was a nice lady at reception, though she didn't speak English. On the downside, they don't take credit cards, the shower had almost no hot water, and breakfast could be better.
