The location is hard to beat, and the atmosphere and rooms in the apartments are lovely. The furniture and decor have the Old Europe feeling I wanted, and seem chosen to suit the historic building rather than standard hotel furnishings. There was plenty of space, though some of it felt wasted. The other decor felt odd and out of place, with Asian art on the walls and Greek-themed pillows and statues in the hall. I’d stick with classic European decor, which works well here. The layouts were strange in both apartments. In one, the sitting room and tiny kitchen were in windowless corridors. Our bedroom also had no windows, but connected to the office, which did; the kids’ room had windows. The only wardrobe was at the entrance, which was inconvenient. The second family apartment had a better kitchen and a dining room instead of an office, but only one bedroom with windows, while the kids slept on a fold-out sofa in the living room. Both apartments had two bathrooms, one with a shower and one with a bathtub. There was no AC. We visited in September, so it wasn’t a problem with the centralized heating, but I can’t imagine staying there in summer. We were happy with the apartments since we didn’t need AC. There’s a tiny elevator, but it stops between floors, so you still have stairs to manage, which is awkward with a stroller. The apartments were very clean when we arrived, but cleaning after that was basically nonexistent. They only emptied the bins and changed towels. You have to ask if you want the bed linen changed, and they don’t clean the floors or do anything else. The location is just the best. Only a view of the Bridge would make it better :)

It’s an ideal base, with an unbeatable location and an easy walk to the Charles Bridge, Old Town Square, and loads of great restaurants. The apartment was spotless and stylish, with a sophisticated modern feel that still felt cozy. I’d highly recommend it if you want comfort, cleanliness, and a fantastic location.

The flat really impressed us: it was spacious, elegant, and very clean, with a beautiful building and lovely interior. Our group of five had two separate toilets and two separate bathrooms, which was fantastic, especially for us women. Everything was within walking distance, so the location was perfect. A big thank you to the charming lady at reception, and many thanks to the cleaning staff too. They were super professional.

We were six hours late getting into Prague, so check-in ended up being well after midnight. The owner was understanding and made sure someone stayed to let us in. The apartment is spacious, with lovely architecture and decor, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The bed was softer than I like, and the shower pressure was weak. I gave up trying to fill the bathtub after an hour.

The photos gave us a very different impression from the apartment we got. We booked a deluxe two-bedroom place, but the first one we were shown felt more like basic two-star accommodation. Reception was empty, and although the staff finish at 4pm, nobody answered the phone, so getting the keys took ages. We hauled our cases up two flights, then, after speaking with the manager by phone, carried them back down and up another flight to the apartment described as deluxe. That one still looked nothing like the pictures, especially the bathroom. We were told it was the only deluxe option available, which left me wondering why we weren't taken there first. As we left, the manageress heard us dragging our bags downstairs and only offered to help when I was almost at the bottom. Do yourself a favour and find somewhere with a lift and photos that match the rooms.
