Hotel Beranek Prague

For the price, it covers the basics and breakfast was better than at many budget hotels. The staff were friendly, the hotel was tidy, and our room was clean and reasonably roomy. There was an old, stale smell, though, as if the room hadn’t been aired out; the original carpets may need replacing. Rooms facing the road can be noisy, so choose carefully if you want to sleep with the windows open. It isn’t the place for star-hotel service, but it’s budget-friendly and does the job. I’d recommend it if you’re watching your spending.

There’s a lounge where you can wait after checkout, charge your phone, or have a coffee, which came in handy. Our room was clean, towels were changed daily, and the breakfast had lots of choice. The staff were lovely and answered our questions and requests kindly. We had a great stay and recommend it to anyone coming to Prague.

Breakfast was fairly decent, though nothing special, and there was a nice space to eat it. We slept well in the large, comfortable king-size beds. The rooms were cleaned daily and kept in good condition, so we never needed to ask for anything extra. Hotel Beránek is in a convenient spot, with the tram stop right outside and a bar next door. It made getting around easy, and we had a very pleasant, comfortable stay.

Breakfast is included and comes in generous portions, with good taste. Getting around from the hotel was easy, whether on foot or by train, and there’s a trainway right out front. Plenty of mini markets stay open late, with fast-food places nearby too. It’s a really cool hotel, and we’ll definitely come back on our next trip to Praha.
