It might suit someone on a tight budget who only needs a place to sleep. For me, though, it felt more like a leisure center with a hotel added upstairs. The room smelled of chlorine, wasn’t clean, and had no drinking water. There were cupboards everywhere, the shower was tiny, and I could hear someone snoring in another room.

The restaurant and gym are well looked after, and the staff are nice. The rooms are another story: they could be cleaner, and the whole place is falling into disrepair. It badly needs an update, especially the hotel rooms.

The chef is fantastic, so make sure to try the local food. Rooms are spacious and clean, and room service works well. It’s also a good spot for business meetings. The gym is spectacular, and its price includes access to the wellness facilities, including the steam room, sauna, and cryotherapy. They offer physiotherapy and massages too.

On my recent business trips to Prague, I stayed at BO resort several times. It’s quite a way from the city center, and since the new owner and manager came in, the quality has dropped considerably while prices have risen a lot. There have been growing problems, including no hot water in the showers and a sauna that no longer works, and nothing seems to get fixed. The manager doesn’t seem to care about complaints. When I raised issues, he was rude and aggressive. Staff seem helpless, and several have already left, apparently fed up with his behavior and incompetence. Complaints are increasing. For me, Blue Orange Resort is over. Avoid this hotel if you don’t want your stay in lovely Prague ruined.
