Botel Marina

The room itself was pleasant, but check-in was unacceptable. We were a family of five with three teenage children, and had completed the hotel's fairly sophisticated online check-in in advance. My booking showed two superior rooms: one with a king-size bed, the other with two twin beds and a futon. The receptionist insisted I'd made a mistake by not requesting an extra bed and said we'd have to pay for one. I calmly showed him the booking, but instead of checking it, he raised his voice. When I asked him to look at the details, he yelled that I should stop arguing and decide whether I wanted to stay. I was shocked by how unnecessary his behavior was. He eventually went away and returned with an extra bed, which showed how easily the issue could have been sorted from the start. I hope hotel management makes sure this doesn't happen again. My photos show what the beds looked like. We still wonder whether the brown futon was really meant to be slept on, as the description said it could accommodate someone for the night.

The water view from our room was beautiful, and the bathroom was clean, with very good hot water and pressure. We stayed in room 121 as a family of three from October 20th to October 24th. Some things could be improved. The carpet had visible dark stains and looked like it hadn't been cleaned for a long time. There was no TV, and although the electric kettle worked, the glasses were never washed or replaced. The drinking water came in an uncovered jug rather than a bottle. Breakfast was quite limited and lacked variety, though the staff were friendly. We had a good stay overall, but cleanliness and breakfast variety need attention.

Breakfast was one of the best I've ever had, with great food and top service. Olena was working like three people, so hardworking, polite and welcoming, always with a smile. The rooms were cozy and clean, and the beds comfortable. Beautiful, stunning, romantic, amazing! Definitely coming back.
