City Leaf Apartments

One issue during our stay was the building's electric entrance lock. It broke several times. Apart from that, the rooms had everything we needed, and I really appreciated having a full-sized mattress. The location is central, with lots of amenities nearby, and there's a no-commission currency exchange right underneath the apartments. It's certainly worth staying here.

The room was clean and had enough space for two. Nothing special, but for us it was simply somewhere to sleep. The central Prague location was a great spot overall, about a 10-15 minute walk from Old Town and a little farther from Charles Bridge and the castle.

The room was clean, though there was mold on the windows. The elevator felt dangerous because it has no inner doors, and I nearly dropped my phone inside. Check-in was the worst part. Their custom web service scans your documents through the camera, but kept rejecting mine. It doesn't save your progress, and you can't upload a photo instead. The hotline couldn't help and insisted that this unreliable service was the only way to check in. I spent more than an hour trying to get through it.

We booked two nights, but couldn't find a way into the property when we arrived. The owner didn't answer or show up, leaving us on the street with our bags for over an hour. We asked to cancel, but the owner still charged the full stay to my credit card, so we had to book somewhere else. It was an absolutely terrible experience. I wish I'd checked the Google reviews before booking; I would have avoided this. One review mentions a man entering an apartment while a woman was staying there. This place seems very shady. Stay away!
