Easy Housing Hostel

The staff, a woman and a man, were courteous and professional. My room was about what you’d expect in a hostel. Nearby you’ve got a public park, Vysehrad, Bastion, Penny Market, Lidl, and plenty of tram lines. There’s a lounge with a couch, library, and dining table. The kitchen has a stove, fridge, plates, bowls, and utensils. Locker keys require a 100 Korunas deposit, which you get back at check-out. Toilets were okay; the shower setup had curtains and felt pretty military-style. My scores out of 10: service 10, location 9, price 10, room 8, kitchen 7, toilet 7, shower 6, cleanliness 8.

I found the hostel cute, clean, and quiet, and the receptionist was really kind and willing to sort out any problem. One night I booked a bed and ended up with the whole apartment to myself. The only downside was the kitchen: just a microwave, no stove or oven, so cooking was difficult. I’d recommend it.

The shared kitchen and lounge were comfortable places to hang out or relax, and the hostel felt modern, practical, and well organized. Staff were friendly and always approachable when I needed help, which made the place feel welcoming. Cleanliness was another strong point for me. The rooms, bathrooms, and kitchen were regularly looked after and maintained to a surprisingly high standard for a hostel. It’s an affordable, clean, friendly option in Prague, and I’d happily stay again.

This was my second stay here, and I’ll book again. The area is quiet, the price is reasonable, and the place is clean and well looked after. My room and bedding were clean, and there’s a full bathroom and kitchen. Everything was impeccable. A special thanks to the friendly, helpful young man with a beard at reception. Our flight was delayed, but we kept in touch and I updated him about our arrival. While I waited, I saw him suggesting sights, routes, and places to eat to other guests. He also handles louder groups in a way that helps everyone else feel comfortable. I’m surprised by the negative reviews. I think some come from expecting too much and not understanding the terms and conditions. A hostel isn’t a hotel, and when judging the conditions or staff, people should also think about their own behavior and the mess they leave for others.
