We had nowhere to sleep after spending the day in Prague. We’d reserved through Booking and tried reaching the property all night. At 17:00 they said arriving at 23:00 would be fine, so we enjoyed the city and took the metro and bus there. When we finally arrived, exhausted, they told us they were overbooked and had no room for us. We called Booking to find somewhere else, and the staff started yelling that we were making noise while they had to count money. At 2 am, Booking’s assistant found us a room. The hotel pushed us out, so we had to walk 700 meters to the other place.

This hotel was really bad. It’s far from the city center, and the rooms weren’t clean. The carpet was filthy. There are three blocks under the same hotel name, A, B, and C, but you wouldn’t know that when booking online. I was assigned to block C, the lowest one, with no phone or TV, and the room was very dirty. I changed hotels and booked another place in the city center for a little more. That was fine with me since I didn’t need transportation, and I was happy with the room and service there.

The staff gave us such a warm welcome and were kind, generous, and helpful. We really appreciated our room on the 8th floor. The view through the window was stunning, with the Japanese garden right there. Thank you!

The water was fresh and icy cold, which was good. The hallways smelled, and the rooms were only almost clean, with very basic equipment. Probably suits Spartans. A couple of beers might make staying here more enjoyable.

They seem to be cutting costs at this hotel. The elevator is pretty old and keeps breaking.
