The mattress and covers had black hairs all over them, and we had to ask several times for someone to change the sheets after calling the emergency number. At first they even told us we'd have to wait until morning because nobody was there. The bed was awful. Getting into the building was a problem too. We called reception as instructed, but nobody answered, so we waited for someone to enter and followed them in just to check in. At reception, a girl was on her phone and seemed completely uninterested. There are several phone numbers listed, but no one picks up. Awful experience, I don't recommend these apartments.

We booked an economy room, but were first put in a basement room with a small window high up by the street and no natural light. It was noisy and smelled bad, so we told reception soon after checking in that we didn't want to stay there. They said nothing upstairs was available that day, but we could move the next day for an extra fee. Later, they offered us a suite on the same floor, facing the back. It was bigger, quieter, and didn't smell bad, so we took it. The first room would have been torture, but the second made things much better. The price was affordable, though they should have said upfront that the economy room was in a basement with no windows.

The staff were really friendly and helpful, and the price was good for what we got. The room was small but clean, with a washing machine, though the kitchen equipment could be better. It faces the main road, so it got a bit loud, or hot if we shut the windows to keep the noise out. The location made it easy to walk to the river, town, or castle. Thanks to the staff.

I don't really understand the negative reviews. Our room was lovely and clean. I did spot one black hair by the toilet, but it was probably from the cleaner. The TV was positioned so I couldn't see it from the bed, with the table right underneath. Check-in could be easier too, it involved a lot of talking in the middle of my holiday.
