Hostel Rosemary

This place just isn’t it. My girlfriend and I woke up covered in bites every night because the bed had bedbugs. On top of that, we were made to pay a hidden 30 euro charge on arrival. Avoid it like the plague.

This was the worst experience I’ve had anywhere in the world. We came with my parents and sister, and the owner was racist and treated us as badly as possible. We’d told the staff in advance we would arrive around 9:00 pm, but nobody was there to hand over the keys. They’d left them in a nearby locker, and finding it was a challenge. After repeated follow-ups, they emailed a maze-like map, and we needed help from local people to work it out. We were stuck in terrible cold for two hours with no help from management. The room heater didn’t work, and it was cold with a broken window pane. The young people partying in the apartment next door were so loud that we had to call the police at midnight. Hats off to Praha police. I should have complained about the owner too. Stay away from this ill-mannered hotel group, they only cause trouble.

The apartment was decent and the location was good, but it was extremely dirty. Dust was piled all over the floor.

The kitchen was really nice, and it was very quiet. The place did feel a little dark and humid.
