The rooftop was a nice place to sit, relax, smoke, and take in the view, and the location was a plus too. My room was clean, with a safe, a small fridge, air conditioning, and really good water pressure. Guests also get 10% off at the restaurant next door. The mattress was very hard, so it won't suit you if you prefer a softer bed. The AC was loud enough that I'd suggest bringing earplugs. There wasn't a kettle in the room for making tea.

We could easily stroll around the old town in the evening and head back to the hotel, since it's very close to the clock. The building is old, but our room was clean and breakfast was good. On the morning we left, they packed a small breakfast for us. I'd definitely recommend it.

The staff were so nice, and breakfast was fantastic. I had the best tea there. Dar is right in the middle of the old town, with all the tourist spots within walking distance. We loved staying here and highly recommend it.

Breakfast was fresh each morning, with a great selection, and the staff were kind and helpful whenever we had questions or needed directions. We really enjoyed our stay at Hotel Dar. It's tucked along a quiet alley, so there weren't many crowds coming or going, though nearby bars can mean some night noise. Closing the windows seemed to do the trick. The location is very central, just around the corner from Old Town Square and the famous Astronomical Clock. We spent five nights here during a big trip around Europe. There's also a terrace with a wonderful view.

The staff are friendly and the location is great. I'd try to reserve a room with windows facing the inner courtyard, though, because street noise and smells may be an issue otherwise.
