Golden Angel Suites by Adrez Living

The Adrez staff were very responsive and helpful. I had several small requests during my stay, and they helped a lot. Many thanks! I stayed a few nights at Golden Angel Suites by Adrez and booked a suite, which turned out to be a great choice. Mine was on the second floor, with a tiny balcony right above the building entrance. There are several suites, so the layouts shown in the website photos differ. The building is historically protected, so I imagine Adrez has limits on what it can renovate. The suite was VERY spacious, around 110 sq m, with high ceilings even in the bathroom. The furniture and bathroom equipment were in great shape. The historical parquet floor showed its long history, and some owners hadn't treated it kindly. Despite being so central, nights were very quiet, with no cars or trams around and no noisy drunk tourists coming from night clubs or whatever. I'm a very light sleeper, and after some fiddling I even turned off the A/C and enjoyed complete silence. The kitchenette is small compared with the enormous living room. It has plates, cups, glasses, a couple of pans, kettle, microwave, induction stove and Nespresso, but no dishwasher. I wouldn't use it anyway, since there are plenty of breakfast places around. I can recommend Bond cafe. Downstairs there's also a cafe and a vending machine with drinks, snacks and Nespresso capsules.

The rooms were clean, big and well equipped. The one downside was the air conditioning. We were on the 4th floor, and although it wasn't boiling hot, the A/C didn't work very well. It would definitely be a problem in summer. Apart from that, 10/10! The location is perfect for Old Town and Astronomical Clock square. Check-in and checkout were easy with the instructions emailed a couple of days ahead. On-site luggage storage was great, and because we booked directly with Adrez, we got complimentary late checkout until 12. Make sure you pre-register your details after booking.

We’ll happily stay here again. The apartment was spotless, and our room was quiet. I’d seen other reviews mention stained carpets, but ours looked almost new. The little kitchen was handy for a quick breakfast before heading out. It’s about two minutes from Old town square, on a lovely cobbled street with a cafe downstairs and shops and restaurants right nearby.

The duplex was spacious, clean, and better than we expected for the price. Downstairs had a full kitchenette and storage; the bedroom and bathroom were upstairs. The bed had plenty of cushions, and the large TV had Netflix and other options. The bathroom had a long double sink, a deep bath, a wall-mounted hairdryer, wash products, and clean towels. We barely heard anything from elsewhere in the building, even with work going on outside. The one annoyance was the timed or automatic air-conditioning. It switched itself back on after we turned it off. We could adjust the temperature, but the air got quite dry. The location is hard to beat: right in Old Town and close to the square, yet around the corner enough to avoid too much noise. The astronomical clock is less than five minutes away, and the Powder Tower is right at the corner. There are lots of bars, restaurants, galleries, museums, and tours nearby. A cafe is also on the ground floor. Getting in was the only hiccup. We had filled out the online registration and received a door code, but it didn’t work. The woman at the security desk called the hosts and quickly got us a new one. After that, there were no problems. Communication was convenient too: WhatsApp gives automated answers, and you can ask for the hosts to follow up. Replies were fast. Checkout was automatic, and we could leave our bags in the luggage room by the downstairs security desk. We’d definitely choose this place again on another trip to Prague.
