Rott Hotel

It’s lively and right in the heart of town, just a few steps from the astronomical clock and minutes from Charles bridge. The hotel is nice, and the rooms are spacious and well maintained. Breakfast was perfect, and the service was good. Highly recommend.

The only real downside for me was the shower. It had a low, fixed shower head that you can’t adjust, so even a short person has it at shoulder height, which is pretty uncomfortable. The rooms can feel a bit old, though that’s expected in the city center. Otherwise, the hotel is very well located in the old town, an easy walk from Charles Bridge and the Astronomical Clock, and a 20 min walk from the castle. Breakfast has lots of options, and staff are helpful and polite.

We stayed at Hotel Rott after getting married, and the team went out of their way to look after us. Their kindness and attention to detail made our honeymoon feel special, so thank you all again. We’ll be back. The staff were outstanding, friendly, funny, and genuinely helpful, and the rooms were spotless, comfortable, and had everything we needed. Breakfast was a relaxing experience with a pianist. We chose a midweek stay, expecting weekends to be very busy. Hotel Rott was once an industrial steel manufacturer, but the old building has been beautifully transformed into an award-winning hotel in the heart of Old Town Prague. The building’s history and charm were incredible, and the location was hard to beat. Hotel Rott is right in the heart of the city, just steps from the famous Astronomical Clock and an easy walk from the Christmas market. It was comfortable, convenient, and full of character, an ideal base for our Prague stay. We loved it and would highly recommend.
