Hotel Maximilian

The staff were wonderful and very accommodating, and the hotel had a modern feel with a calm, relaxed atmosphere. The rooms were spacious, especially the bathroom. Breakfast was decent, with a very good option you could order and a reasonable choice at the buffet. My only wish is for firmer, less flat pillows. If you sleep on your side, you may want to stack a few, though there are plenty, so it’s manageable.

The Maximilian is in a very central spot in Prague, about five minutes from Old Town Square and the excellent public transport. We stayed for four days with my wife and were warmly welcomed. They told us right away that the lift was temporarily out of order. We were on the 3rd floor, but it wasn’t too bad. We ate breakfast at the hotel on a couple of days and went out locally on the other days, where we also had a lovely breakfast. One small annoyance was the towels. The bathroom sign asked us to leave them on the floor only if we wanted them changed, but we hung them up each day and they were still replaced every day. Generally, an excellent stay. Thank you. 🙏

Need to unwind? The Maximilian has an in-house spa, and gym users can visit the gym at its sister hotel, Hotel Josef. There’s also an in-house restaurant with delicious food, plus a conference room that can be hired for events and workshops. The hotel is right in the heart of Old Town Prague and is absolutely stunning. Its rooms have five-star quality, and the staff are friendly, highly professional, and always ready to go the extra mile. The in-house cafe/bar has a great selection of fresh pastries and cakes, coffee, and drinks, including fine wines. I highly recommend The Maximilian. It’s more than just a hotel, it’s an experience.

The staff at Hotel Maximilian were friendly and accommodating, and we were grateful for everyone’s help. Our room was clean, comfortable, and a great size. It had a mini fridge with beverages, and they kindly gave us a bottle of wine. We loved the beautiful hotel and its perfect location for visiting the spots in Old Town. I highly recommend staying here. Thank you to all the staff!
