We were supposed to have a relaxing birthday trip to Prague after looking forward to it for weeks, but the stay was disappointing from the start. We were at the hotel from 15 to 18 October. On arrival, we were told there were “technical issues” and waited three hours just to check in. Then, at around 11:00 a.m. on 17 October, reception called to say our last night had been cancelled and we had to leave by 12:30 p.m. There was no warning or reasonable explanation. The only alternative hotel they offered was already full, so we spent hours of our holiday stressed and trying to find somewhere to stay. We’d already paid €30 for parking and €4.40 in cash for the city tax. They said a cash refund was impossible and promised it would come through Booking.com, but we only got the room refund. We’re still owed €34.40. The way we were treated was completely unprofessional and unacceptable, and it ruined what should have been a happy, restful trip. Don’t book here if you want a pleasant, stress-free holiday. Prague has plenty of more reliable options.

The staff were rude and difficult to deal with. At reception, we were asked to pay for parking in cash, with no explanation. We’d paid the city tax by card, so it didn’t seem to be a technical problem. It gave us the impression that something under the table might be going on. We stayed a couple of weeks ago, and luckily our stay wasn’t cancelled, as it apparently had been for some other guests recently.

The room’s air conditioner didn’t work, though everything else was okay. The bigger problem was reception: they wanted cash for parking and wouldn’t say why. We paid the city tax by card, so it didn’t look like a technical issue. The receptionist was very impolite and unreasonable, and the whole thing gave the impression of an under-the-table scam.

We booked through booking.com for my 21st birthday in November 2025. Both the booking site and the hotel later confirmed our reservation and check-in, but when we arrived that night, the hotel was closed and nobody was there. Every number connected to the hotel was disconnected, so we couldn’t reach anyone. We ended up having to find and book another hotel. Do not book here. It is not open.

The rooms were spacious, clean, and comfortable, and the staff were friendly and genuinely helpful throughout our stay. You can walk to the Old Town and nearly everything else you might want to see in Prague. Breakfast didn’t have a huge selection, but there was plenty for us. A solid place to consider if you’re staying in Prague.
