The location is the main plus: there's a tram stop right outside and the metro is only a three-minute walk away. Staff were friendly and helpful, and I would stay again, though for me it was a four-star experience. There was mold in our shower and it leaked, which wasn't pleasant.

The staff were lovely, and the transport links nearby are very convenient. But in summer my room got hot and stayed that way. I had to leave the window open, and it faced a tram stop running around the clock. Even with earplugs, the noise left me sleeping badly for several days. The shower head kept slipping out of its holder and hit my foot.

The hotel card is needed to get in, which I liked for security. Its location is convenient too, with a mall nearby, the metro close and trams right outside. For the price, it's a reasonable deal, though there was nothing especially impressive. I didn't try breakfast. The carpet was really dirty, with lots of dust under the beds, so the room cleaning needs improvement. It's fine for a solo traveler or someone just passing through, but I'd highly recommend it to families.

Transport is the clear bright spot here, with a metro station and decent tram service right outside. If you find a good rate, I might consider staying outside summer, but I'd skip breakfast. We chose the hotel because its restaurant and rooftop bar were advertised. The restaurant was barely operating, and the roof bar was closed and turned into a meeting room, left open with dirty coffee cups around. Breakfast was poor too, with fruit past its best, stale brioche and overcooked pastries. Check-in was disorganized, and our room hadn't been cleaned, so they had to call a cleaner at 9:30 at night. I was on the fourth floor in summer, and it was almost unbearably hot with no air conditioning or fan. We were very disappointed.

The best thing is that you can step outside and catch a tram downtown, and the metro is only a few minutes away. We weren't personally bothered by the traffic noise from the main street, but if you need quiet to fall asleep, the trams and cars could be a problem. There's no air conditioning, so in hot weather you may have to sleep with the windows open. Our room was otherwise all right, though there were questionable brown marks on the wall beside the bed. Breakfast was bad enough that we only tried it once: fried eggs and sausage had sat too long in the warmer, the boiled eggs were cold, the milk warm, bread stale, cold cuts and cheese dry, and juice seemed watered down. The breakfast staff looked more interested in their phones and chatting than the buffet. The last day turned stressful over my car. I was out sightseeing with my family when reception called to say it had to be moved immediately for road work. If I’d known before we left that morning, I would have moved it myself. Since I’d left the keys in my room, a staff member agreed to move it. The receptionist apologized, and I understand mistakes happen, but it caused needless stress. That receptionist was the only person involved who acknowledged the major inconvenience and said sorry. When we returned, the car had been parked on a parallel street, a fair walk from the hotel, and nobody offered to reimburse the parking fee we'd paid. The next morning the pavement was gone, so we had to leave through the courtyard. I asked if we could drive in to load our bags rather than carry them all the way to the other street, but the receptionist said that wasn't an option and only suggested moving the car to the far side of the street. There was no real effort to help. It felt like the staff thought they had no reason to help because hotel staff weren't doing the digging. A simple acknowledgement of the trouble would have gone a long way. The breakfast was also disappointing, and for a below-average hotel, that adds up.
