The food and beer were just as enjoyable when I came back after a few years, with the same great burgers and other dishes, plus freshly brewed beers alongside the ones they already had. It's a good spot for real Czech beer and local cuisine. Service is pretty good, and the beer comes quickly even when the place is packed. If walking is difficult, you can stay at the pension next to the restaurant, since they're in the same place. Very comfortable 😜

Every table was booked on a Saturday afternoon, so it seems to be popular. The tables were clean and the staff friendly. I found the Angus burger dry and overcooked, though the fries were excellent. There's a good range of beers, but the flavors don't differ much. The ales lacked that distinct ale taste and came across more like bitter lager. I'd probably return for classic Czech food and lager, but that's about it.

The homemade beer was great, and I really liked the burger. Service was friendly and quick. I tried 7 varieties of beer during my visit and can't wait to return for more food and the rest of the beers. If you're hooked on ranch, their tartar sauce is the closest thing to ranch dressing I've found in Prague.

A friend pointed me here, and it turned out to be a great choice. I only discovered this local brewery after three years in Prague. The restaurant and brewery are in a building that used to be a school, školička meaning “small school.” Good craft beer and food at a fair price, and a place to try if you want to get off the beaten path. Get off at Prosek metro station.
