Prague City Residence

The rooms are spacious and clean, with good beds and mattresses, and the kitchenette is reasonably equipped. The location is quiet, though it's a bit of a walk to public transport. On cold days, the heating reaches its limit, so extra blankets would help. Check-in and city tax payment worked, but not at the times they had announced. There were so many emails, yet getting answers to questions was difficult and sometimes there was no response. No staff were there outside 9-11 AM, and there were no lockers to leave luggage on arrival or departure day. That was a significant drawback.

It felt more like a small apartment than a hotel room, and comfortably fit four people. We had our own fridge and freezer, plus a private toilet, which made everything easy. The place was clean, with a good-sized bathroom, bidet and hairdryer. For the price, it was great value in a safe, quiet neighbourhood. Invalidovna metro station is a quick 5-6 minute walk away, and from there it's about 16 minutes by metro to Old City attractions. Restaurants, cafes and supermarkets are also within walking distance. Our room was on the third floor and looked onto a construction site. We heard some noise, but it wasn't an issue while we were out all day, and mornings were fine. With windows and doors closed, we barely heard anything. One thing to know if you want space, cleanliness and easy transit access while visiting Prague.

The room was really nice and spacious, and the bathroom was very clean. The hotel itself is lovely, and the price was decent for Christmas market season. It's quite far from the main streets, though, and if you're travelling alone, you might feel unsafe walking around the area. If you're in a group, I'd definitely choose it.

The location was convenient and the room was clean, but the place felt very average because everything was old. The chairs by the table need replacing, the towels looked worn, and one roll of toilet paper was extremely dirty. There was no sound insulation, so we could hear the neighbours talking. Online checkout was only available from 8-10 am. Luckily, the receptionist was there at 7, so we could leave earlier. Reception staff are there from 7 am to 4 pm.
