This was a cute little campsite, and I really enjoyed my stay. The setting feels natural, the showers and toilets are very good, and the people at reception were nice and flexible. Arriving late was easy, with clear instructions. The city is easy to reach by bus and tram.

We rented a holiday house in Prague for four days with friends, but the stay fell short. The listing said there was air conditioning, yet there was no remote and we couldn’t use it. We reported the problem twice without any fix. Someone eventually tried to install something while we were out, and the power went off. A staff member wasn’t helpful, so we had to sort it out ourselves. In the end, the supposed AC was only a weak fan. The shower was dirty, and there was hair in the sink. At checkout we reported all of this and were told they’d contact Check24 and arrange a refund. We still haven’t heard back or received compensation. Sadly, it put a damper on our Prague trip.

The bathrooms and shower were clean, there’s a nice bar, and the staff were friendly. Some other guests were pretty loud, though that wasn’t the campsite staff’s fault. Prague centre is easy to reach.

The owner helped us figure out how to get into the beautiful city, and we could buy a day ticket for Prague at reception. The bus station is only a few minutes away on foot, with a very good connection to the centre. The reception closes at 6 pm. We arrived in time, but the owner said late arrivals could choose a spot and check in the next morning when reception opens at 8. I’d suggest calling ahead. We had a really pleasant stay and would come back when visiting the city. The pitches are nice and shaded, and everything was clean and well looked after. I especially liked the shower, which doesn’t need coins.

Good enough for a couple of nights while visiting Prague, though it isn’t the best site around. Reception can explain the bus and tram route: it’s a 300-metre walk to transport, then about 30 minutes to the centre. Easy enough. There’s not much traffic noise despite the road nearby, but larger vans may struggle with the pitches. The chemical toilet emptying point isn’t great and needs a separate drinking water tap. Use the disposal point in the wash block, not the one by the entrance.
