Hotel Olympik

Getting around the hotel can be a pain. With 19 floors and too few elevators, the waits get really long, and some cleaners take guests' personal things. The room was tiny but decent, though it had no trash can except the one in the bathroom, which didn’t feel hygienic. Dinner was basic and cold. Breakfast was good overall, with enough variety.

The room had plenty of space, but it got really hot at night because the heater wouldn’t switch off, even after I tried a couple of times. I also found the pillows far too big and uncomfortable. A full-length mirror in the room’s hallway would have been useful.

The rooms felt old and dingy, and the air conditioning didn’t work. When I arrived, nobody was at the front desk, and the staff had a bad attitude during check-in. It’s just bad, even on a budget. I wish I’d never booked a night here. You can do better elsewhere, and I strongly recommend looking.

The room was cold, around 19-20°C, and the TV didn’t work. Water pressure was barely there, the third bed was extremely uncomfortable, and breakfast was poor, with dirty tables in an unwelcoming area. But the biggest issue was safety. During our Dec 20-21 stay at Hotel Olympik, someone stole my wallet and jewelry box from our room while we were out at a nearby restaurant just three minutes away for only two hours. Reception made things worse. The receptionist was dismissive and unhelpful, saying that in their experience the police usually take about three hours to arrive. That makes it sound like these thefts may happen often, which is alarming for a hotel claiming four stars. Two stars at best. Because of the safety concerns alone, I strongly do not recommend it.
