Pytloun Old Armoury Hotel Prague

The hotel is decorated like a medieval armory, and everything was clean and tidy. When anything was missing, they fixed it without hesitation. The walls in our room were a bit thin, so we could hear the people next door, but it wasn’t too bad. The location is lovely, with a park right outside and plenty of good restaurants and shops nearby. Charles Bridge and other sights are a short walk away. Most of all, the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, and there was always someone around. They really know what proper hotel service means.

We had a really enjoyable stay and couldn’t find anything to fault. The room was clean and well cared for, with a well-stocked bathroom, and breakfast was tasty. Staff were professional, friendly, and ready to help. The hotel is well placed near Charles Bridge and the Old Town. We’d happily stay at the Old Armory again next time we’re in Prague. Five out of five from us. 🙂

The location feels close to the center but less touristy and crowded because it’s across the bridge. The 20/22 tram is about a five-minute walk away and goes to pretty much anywhere. There’s also a dog park beside the hotel, a nice place to sit with coffee in the sun and watch locals with their dogs. Inside, the hotel has a cozy, charming feel in the rooms and hallways. Take the stairs to the top at least once. Krisztyna made us feel welcome at check-in, and the breakfast staff were pleasant too, especially the redhaired lady. The buffet was satisfactory, and the minibar prices were reasonable if you want an evening drink.

We found it easy to explore the city from Old Armory Hotel, and it was calm and relaxing to come back to. The hotel has a distinctive feel thanks to its history. Our room was clean, comfortable, well maintained, and had what we needed. Everything was organized when we arrived, and the staff were welcoming, professional, and consistently helpful. The service met or exceeded what we expected, making the stay smooth and stress free. We’d definitely recommend Old Armory Hotel to anyone visiting Prague. 👍
