The construction noise made it impossible for us to rest, sleep, or work. It went on loudly from early morning until late evening, because our room and balcony faced an active building site. We asked the host for another room or a refund, but both requests were refused. They wrongly said Booking.com policy meant a refund wasn't possible, so we've started a refund process through booking.com. Our booking was for June 9 to June 12 at this property in the Czech Republic. The listing promised a “view”, specifically a "garden view", and used selected photos of a quiet, green garden that strongly influenced our decision. There was no mention of construction or noise. The pictures and view description were misleading, and this is a serious breach of fair commercial practices under Czech consumer protection law and EU Directive 2005/29/EC on unfair commercial practices. We're attaching photos and videos from different angles showing the view from our balcony and how it contrasts with the listing photos. We were left in a room that didn't match what had been advertised. To us, this is misleading marketing and a denial of basic consumer rights. We strongly caution future guests to verify the conditions before booking.

I booked for four, two adults and two kids, but forgot to tell them the children's ages. As a result, there were no beds for the kids. With no staff at the property around 5-6 pm, my children had to sleep on the floor. Stay clear of this place and find somewhere else.

The manager is gracious and very professional, and she takes great care of both the building and the residents. It's right in the beautiful New Town, central and not far from the Old Town and main plazas. This was the best place I've stayed on my trip since December, which took me through Germany, Budapest, Venice, and Milan.

I was traveling alone and had my flight the next morning. At 1 am, I turned on the lights and the power suddenly went out. I'm afraid of the dark, and after that I couldn't charge my phone or work phone. I messaged them on WhatsApp and through Booking, but nobody answered at first. Later, Booking got a reply saying, “yes we fixed it.” I wasn't happy with the staff. It would've been nice if they'd fixed it, or at least replied while I was there, even if they couldn't fix it right then. If you're traveling alone and don't want to be stuck in a situation like this by yourself, don't go there.
